Baby Birds: Part 5

I went to check the nest today, and the mother flew out of it. The mother is now mad at me, but, I don’t care if the mother is mad at me.  I’m scared the mother will disown her eggs. The mother can disown eggs because, the mother has other nests, that she can lay her new eggs in. The mother can disown her eggs, but will not disown her chicks.🐤

I think that the mother is the one in the corner, and the Father is the one on the plant.

The mother and father are starting to always be close to the nest. I think I know why there doing this though. 1, they saw a predator and want to keep the eggs safe. Or 2, they’re expecting the eggs to hatch. I’m going to study the birds to find out which one. Until then, I’ll keep you updated on what I find out. 🥚

Baby Birds: Part 3

Baby Birds: Part 3

The mom built the nest camouflaged, because the mom doesn’t want her eggs to be eaten by predators. Also the nest is deep, so when the mother sits in the nest, she can’t be seen. The past days the mother and father has been building the nest and making it more hidden. I, still don’t know what type of bird the mother is , but I am trying to figure it out. 🐥

Wolf spider

I found a wolf spider inside my house, I decided to catch it and study it. Here is some  information about wolf spiders. Wolf spiders are members of the family Lycosidae, which is Greek for wolf. Wolf spiders hunt alone, and do not spin webs. Wolf spiders carry their egg sacs by attaching them to their spinnerets. After I caught the wolf spider, I set it free outside. 🐺🕷

Baby Birds: Part 2

There are feathers in the nest because of 2 reasons. 1, the mother was in the nest and her feathers got caught on the sticks. Or 2, the mother put her feathers in the nest, so that, when the baby’s hatch, the nest would be soft. I really want the eggs to hatch, because then I can do more blogs about the birds, and how they grow up. 🐤

Baby Birds: Part 1

I looked in one of my plants, and saw eggs in it. All I could see are 5 little eggs. When a mother bird is making a nest, and it’s in a plant,  it digs into the soil of the plant. It does this, because the mother wants it’s eggs to be safe from predators. It also does this because, the mother can just block the opening, and the eggs are safe from rain. I’m now so excited for when the eggs hatch. 🐣

Rain

Rain comes when the whole water cycle is complete.  The water cycle is when there’s a puddle on the ground from previous rain. Then the water evaporates  up into the air. The evaporated water particles go together and make a cloud. More and more particles go into the cloud and make it heavy. When the cloud is to heavy the rain inside falls out. From the puddle, the water cycle starts again. 💧
